orange or blue?

Jessica, these are for you... excuse the mess, they're not perfect!
all lowercase...
or w. uppercase...
and a note... monitor settings will change the colors slightly, so to me the orange looks brighter in real life, like the typical orange from your first grade paint pots, and the blue looks more or less accurate. I can make either one look different, if you want to soften them up, etc.

..............................Leanne & Robert's Save the Dates..............................

Leanne and Robert are getting married on Halloween (it's her favorite holiday) so we chose this eerie but still pretty branch wreath stamp.
I love using vintage stamps, and I found these great Sleepy Hollow stamps for Leanne and Robert to go with their Halloween date. I also like putting certain stamps on guests' envelopes that pertain to their interests, values, or geographical locations.

ready for the post!

..............................Sara & Bart: May 29..............................

This was a really fun wedding for me because Bart is my boyfriend's brother, so I got to design the program, escort cards, table numbers, and favors for a lovely couple I know, plus I got to attend the wedding, which was a blast!

THE CEREMONY

THE RECEPTION
I loved doing the escort cards, the metallic ink was subtle and pale, and I used purple for the guys and green for the gals, to mix things up! My dear friend Lauren's escort card...
I couldn't resist this: my doggy's nose sniffing away at the lavender... always looking for something to eat, had to re-shoot that one.
table numbers with embossed stamp images
yummy lavender tea was placed at guests' seats in these little boxes

Day One!

Welcome to Pomodoro Papers! I am super excited to finally publish a blog; I've been following others for a while and I think this is a great way to share ideas and hopefully also get my work out there! These days I'm mostly doing calligraphy and wedding suite design, but I will share lots of other things with you, either inspiration, or lovely things I just have to post. I hope you enjoy and I hope you get in touch with me if you want to share something, say something or just say hi!
